Naked Brides

So you want your bride to look smokin’ hot for the wedding night sex, but the occasional Wii Fit workouts just aren’t doing the trick? Don’t worry, there’s still hope. Here are some tips to very carefully pass along to her. Remember, the key is to make her think it was her idea to read them.

Measure up

Yep, size matters. How else will you know how much progress you’ve made by the time the wedding day rolls around? The key measurements to take are the waist, arms and thighs. No, bust size is not included (there are other ways to enhance that measurement). You should weigh yourself. Remember to record all of these numbers on a weekly basis. Try starting a workout journal so you can track your progress week by week.

Set a schedule

It goes without saying that this will only work if you set a schedule and stick to it! You don’t have to exercise every day, but a minimum of three times per week is a good rule of thumb. We know it’s sometimes hard to get motivated to work out, but there are plenty of ways to help get the engines started. Try creating a workout iPod mix, working out with a friend or even rewarding yourself with a glass of wine or martini afterward.

Drop some coin

Obviously wedding planning isn’t cheap, but proper workout attire is worth the investment. And if you don’t already have one, an iPod is another great purchase. Other options include sports bras, running shoes and a heart rate monitor.

Exercise for your groom

Have you heard of S Factor? It’s The Man Registry’s favorite bridal workout. All you need is a pole. (Yes, we’re serious.) Pole dancing workouts have become all the rage recently. Most cities now offer studios where you can take weekly classes. (find S Factor studios in your city) -  This serves two purposes:

  • It really is a great workout
  • Now when your groom asks you if you can install a stripper pole in the bedroom, you actually have a reason to say yes!

If stripping doesn’t strike your fancy, here’s a sample six-month bridal workout routine.

Always stretch and cool down

This simple concept will keep you from injuring your muscles: Stretch before exercising. Then make sure to have a cool down stretch afterward.

If all else fails

Can’t stick to the routine? Not seeing results? No problemo – just have more sex. It’s nature’s workout.

Side note guys, it wouldn’t hurt if you followed some type of exercise regimen at least three days a week as well. You want to look as great as your bride-to-be, right? Not to mention the fact that it’s good for your overall health and a great stress reliever. Get out there!

Cheers!
